The customer complained of frequent chain failures on their biscuit line \u2014 the tension fluctuated, and the standard chain could not withstand the HACCP washdown cycles. After a technical review, we understood that the problem lay in the choice of material and the precision of the tensioner.<\/p>\n

The situation and the challenge<\/h2>\n

The food-industry company produces biscuits in two shifts \u2014 the line runs 16 hours a day, and HACCP requires 3 washdown cycles daily. The standard chain began to rust after 6 weeks, and uneven tension caused vibration and extra load on the motor.<\/p>\n

We selected a stainless steel modular chain with a more precise tensioner and HACCP-certified components. We also proposed an installation plan that would allow the system to be replaced within a single shift, without long downtime.<\/p>\n
